Moderation Policy

How VotedVoice reviews reports and moderates public issues, discussions, questions and petitions.

Lawful political criticism — including sharp criticism of public officials — is welcome and is not removed simply because it is controversial.

What is not allowed

  • Threats, harassment and hate speech
  • Personal information and doxxing (home addresses, phone numbers, private details)
  • Defamatory allegations or unsupported factual claims presented as fact
  • Impersonation and misleading claims of official affiliation
  • Spam, duplicate submissions and coordinated manipulation of polls or discussions
  • Dangerous misinformation about how, when or where to vote

How review works

Reports are triaged P0 (most urgent) to P3. Credible threats, doxxing and dangerous voting misinformation may be temporarily hidden immediately, pending human review. Every final decision is made by a person and recorded with a reason.

New public issues are reviewed before publication. Submissions are rate-limited and exact duplicates are blocked.

Appeals

If your content is restricted, you are told why and can appeal once within seven days. A different reviewer decides the appeal.
